Dear reader,

Inaddition,homelessnessand urbanslumsaresomeofthesocial problemsrelatedtothetopicof sustainablehousing. Inthisissuewepresentthree casesfromtheoikosonlinecase collection.TheKimptonHotels case(byMurraySilvermanandTom Thomas)describestherolloutof amajorenvironmentalinitiative (“EarthCare”programme)atthe chainofboutiquehotels.Terence TsaiandShuboLiuwriteabouttheir caseHunghomPeninsulainHong Kongandthecontroversyinvolved intheproposeddemolitionofthe never-occupiedresidentialbuilding complexofHunghomPeninsula.
