There is a legend about a time Su Dongpo visited the Zen master Foyin. Both of them were on the rise, Su Dongpo suddenly put on Foyin’s Buddha cassock and asked: "what do you think I am?" Foyin answered: “Like a Buddha.” Then he asked Su Dongpo: “How do you think about me?” Su Dongpo was very delighted to hear that and he said with a laugh: “You look like a pile of bullshit!” Foyin smiled and said no more.

Thinking that it’s a great win over Foyin of the wits Battle, Dongpo, riding high home, told his sister Su Xiaomei of it, but Su Xiaomei poured cold water on him and said: “You’ve got a big loss.” Su Dongpo puzzled and asked why. Su Xiaomei explained: “It is because Zen Master’s mind is actually that of a Buddha that he could see you as a Buddha. As your mind is like a pile of bullshit, of course, you saw him as a pile of bullshit.”

I believe that Su Dongpo was upset when he heard Su Xiaomei’s words. In fact, in the daily management or deal with people, the best way is tolerance and understanding, which could avoid to becoming“cow dung”. That is so-called “step back and have a brighter future”.

Most people always answer a tooth for a tooth, anger not yet appeased, even to seek revenge for the smallest grievance when they were misunderstood or curse. Thus, with space becomes nervous sense, at the same time, the so-called “sweetheart" once made, it is...
